What the app is
Manganova is a tool for drawing, laying out, lettering, writing and exporting comics on your Android device. You can use it for personal and commercial work. By installing or using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your content
Everything you create in the app belongs to you, including stories, scripts, characters, drawings, pages and exported files. We claim no rights to it. You are responsible for what you create and share, including making sure it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Your work is stored only on your device. Please keep your own backups, for example as a .manganova file. We cannot recover anything lost when a device is reset, replaced or the app is removed.
Bundled materials
You may use the backgrounds and patterns bundled with the app inside comics you make, including comics you sell. You may not sell or share them on their own, for example as a material pack.
Optional AI writing help
AI features work only with a server you set up yourself. You are responsible for that server, for any fees it charges and for following its terms. AI output is a suggestion: review it before you use it. We make no promise about its accuracy, originality or suitability.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to make or distribute unlawful content, and do not resell or redistribute the app itself outside the terms of the store you got it from.
Updates and availability
The app may change, or be discontinued, at any time. We try to keep your stories readable across updates, but we cannot guarantee that forever.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of data, lost profits or other damages arising from using the app or being unable to use it.
Privacy
How the app handles your data is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
